wow, thankyou :D :D :D

we like tk max alot, this might end up being used

we already thought of ak47 and thought it would be a bit unnecissarily violent :? it does work well though seeing as my average score is probably somewhere around that!

Thanks for all the great suggestions everyone :)

I never expected Adam's post to generate so much interest or that so many people would be on the forum on a Wednesday night

Obviously there isn't much else to do in Hastings

I like Tim's suggestion of 'Ned' Kelly but I'm going to go with 'TK max'

Thanks Jo :D

See you all on Sunday

Some great suggestions. It's like taking part in a minigolf themed virtual game of Blankety Blank. The cheque book and pen are just one question away. It's supermatch time... Terry Wogan (or Les Dawson) are poised with the following question:

"Blank - KELLY"

Who will take the spoils?

Adam's hat is very similar to Ned Kelly's bucket headwear.... except of course his is made of wool!

Watch 'Still Game' to find out the meaning of Ned in Glasgow though!

It is looking like probably AK47 but im still open to suggestions, deadline of 7pm tonight before i confirm :)

I had an idea for an extension of this which involves me setting up my own self funded prize fund (dont expect too much) In every tournament round in which i score a 47, every other player who scores a 47 in the same round receives a prize from me :D

Some news reporter asked me in Hastings, what my nickname is, as everyone seems to have a nickname. I told him that nicknames are a British thing, so you should ask the Brits what is my nickname.

Now having checked that I made 19 aces in the tournament -- more than anyone else except Jo W in tied aces, and Rocky B narrowly one ace behind -- it is clear that my nickname should be John "AceMan" Mittler.

2 hours past the 7pm deadline!

What was the decision? Or are the new nicknames being unveiled at the Kent Open? Will there be matching costumes???
