Cliff's Fish & Chip Shop in Great Yarmouth

When I was in Eastbourne last year, I saw the filming of the mass fight scene, referred to in the article, for Brighton Rock, on the pier entrance. That part of the promenade was closed off and they'd put 1960s cars along it as well as the mod's scooters in front of the brawl.

There's a PJ's fish and chips in Great Yarmouth as well. It's a similar shop as it also has a sign for kebabs and burgers as well as the fish and chip signs. It's in one of the backstreets rather than the promenade or B&B areas, so it's more one for locals.

There's a five percent discount on any items in store to anyone producing a valid BMGA membership card.

Denise Pearson from Five Star will be on The Voice, BBC1, tomorrow, which supposedly is judged purely on vocal ability alone. She's getting a bit of ridicule but since she fell into obscurity she's worked as a backing singer and recently appeared in two West End shows. Whitney Houston even said she was the only singer in the world who was better than herself.

There's a dog called Wilson in the story so it might be of interest to The Machine and Michael Skaggs too...

I'd already read about this. Oddly enough, not in a local paper but on BBC text, in the regional news section. There are a couple of boxers belonging to neighbours but it's a different one.

Every time I hear about the 'Fiscal Cliff' on the news I immediately think of Peter Jones

Here's hoping Cliff makes a return to the BMGA Tour in 2013, or comes back to the forum at the very least!
