2018 British Masters Players' Pack

The 2018 British Masters takes place on Sunday 22 April at the Explorers' Course, Mr Mulligan's Dino Golf, Sidcup (BR7 6RP) with practice on Saturday. There is just one week to go and a full tournament preview will be on the BMGA website in the next few days.

The course have given all players the BMGA day rate of the course of £5 so please ensure you pay this before you start your practice.  Practice prior to the 21 April is also available at the £5 day rate but only for BMGA members who show their 2018 badge.

Please allow the public to play around you on the course. The course is open, as normal, until 7pm on Saturday 21st April (and up to 10pm on weekdays).
Public will be on the course on the Saturday whilst players are practising for the tournament.

Course Rules
Standard BMGA rules apply. If your ball gets stuck behind one of the wooden poles on the 18th hole then you will be required to tee off again. All groups will have an experience Tour Pro who will be able to clarify any rules.  In addition, there will be a run through of hole specific rules before the start of play.

Tournament Format
Any minigolf balls may be used or an official WMF golf ball (players in their first tournament can use a standard golf ball).

Players must tee off behind the plastic either side of the tee off area.

Practice is allowed on the course from 8am until 8.45am on the day of the tournament.  There will then be a run through of the day and a chance to clarify any points before the shotgun start at 9am.

There will be 3 shotgun rounds with all players remaining in the same groups and then a final round in reverse leaderboard order.  There will be a break for lunch after the 3rd round (expected to be around noon).  Play is expected to end around 3pm.  Groups will be announced on Saturday 21 April.

In the event of any ties, there will be a sudden death playoff from hole 1.

The winner of the Masters will receive a medal, a cash prize and, of course, the coveted tweed jacket.

There will also be Junior, Senior and Category prizes.
