ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING INFORMATION
This will take place on Sunday 25th February at the Dunton Hills Family Golf Centre from midday until 2pm. This will immediately be followed by the Gringo Cup II (2 or 3 rounds over the famous Essex links).

Please note that the bar and cafe are closed, there are still tea/coffee, soft drink facilities and a selection of chocolate bars available to buy. Other than that, you are able to bring your own food.
 
The Executive Committee are currently requesting members motions for the AGM. Any current 2018 Tour Pro can forward a motion, details of which need to be emailed to Paul Preston, BMGA Chairman (  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  ) within the next 2 weeks (motions must be submitted by end of day Sunday 11th February). All motions must be detailed in the email and due to the nature of voting (see below) will need to have a clear Yes or No outcome.
 
A list of the motions will then be published on the BMGA website by end of day on Sunday 18th February, along with the AGM information pack at which point the motions will be opened up to proxy voting (again for current Tour Pro members) with a deadline of 9pm on Friday 23rd February.
For those unable to attend, there shall be an option to Skype in to the meeting. Full details on this will folow in due course. 

2018 Tour Pros will be eligible to attend the AGM and will have the opportunity to vote on any of the motions in person (NB. there is only 1 vote per member and motions will be passed or rejected on a majority vote). Remember we are again offering an ‘Early Bird’ Tour Pro membership of just £25 for players who take out 2018 Tour Pro Membership up to and including Tuesday 28th February 2018. Please note that to be eligible to attend the AGM and vote on the motions, you need to have taken out BMGA membership by 9pm on Friday 23rd February.
 
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ELECTIONS 
 
Paul Preston and Martin Greenhead are automatically up for re-election. Any current 2018 Tour Pro can put themselves forward to be part of the EC and in the event of there being more candidates, the election will be opened up to our current Tour Pros to vote on who they would like to see on the EC.
 
With this in mind, any Tour Pro keen to be part of the EC needs to email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  with their manifesto (no more than 1 A4 page) by the end of day on Sunday 4th February, answering the following questions:   


1) Why do you want to be part of the new EC?
2) What do you bring in terms of experience and skills, etc to the EC that will benefit the BMGA?
3) Why should our members vote to elect you onto the EC?


In the event of more candidates than positions, the manifestos will be published on BMGA website on Monday 5th February along with full details of the voting process.
