The Lost Hut Trail course has become one of my favourite courses in the UK and it was particularly pleasing to play so well in the opening two rounds. I’d like to thank John Whitehead and all his team for hosting the tournament for nine consecutive years and I am already looking forward to number ten in 2018. I’d also like to thank the BMGA Executive Committee for running the tournament and to my playing partners: Andy Wilde, Marion Hartley, Ed Pope and Chris Wood, for three extremely enjoyable rounds played in an excellent spirit.”
