Star City in Birmingham ready for the traditional season closing event PDF Print E-mail

The 2017 BMGA season will come to a close this coming weekend at the Star City Open in Birmingham for the traditional season finale. The tournament will be teeing off at 8.30am on Sunday 3rd December.

This will be the third time that the event has taken place in December and shall once again be a three-round event on the Lost Hut Trail course. It promises to be another strongly fought affair with players ascending from across Britain for one of the BMGA’s longest running events.

Any additional information regarding the tournament shall be posted on the BMGA Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BMGAMinigolf/). There will hopefully be some live streaming of the competition on the BMGA Facebook page over the course of the weekend.

Sean Homer, BMGA Chairman comments “John Whitehead (the course owner) has been a great supporter of the BMGA tour since the courses at Star City arrived on the scene and it's always a great event to mark the end of the season on the tour. I am sure that once again the Star City Open will provide a fitting climax to a great season of Minigolf that began at the turn of the year in Dublin and has seen a number of exciting competitions grace the tour. The hospitality we receive in Birmingham has always been first class and I know that all of the players who have ever played at Star City will echo my comments in thanking John and team for their support - long may it continue!!“

The BMGA Executive Committee look forward to seeing you all this weekend for what shall be a superb end to another excellent BMGA season.
