BMGA Annual General Meeting information including motions and proxy voting details PDF Print E-mail

On Saturday 4th March, the day before the 2017 BMGA season opener, the English Open, the BMGA Annual General Meeting will take place in Nottingham at the Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service (7 Mansfield Road, Nottingham NG1 3FB - opposite House of Fraser from 2pm– 5pm). You can find the full information pack, including reports from the current EC, the manifestos from the EC-elect and the motions for the AGM, attached to this article.

The EC received 15 motions for the AGM. Some of the motions were in fact suggestions or admin points which we have taken on board for consideration as potential actions for the incoming EC. We are always happy to receive feedback and suggestions, and have taken on board feedback received in post-tournament surveys and as mentioned earlier in the pack, we will be launching a new feedback system in time for the start of the season.

The following eleven motions are therefore eligible for debate and voting. The four motions not selected are published at the end of this section of the AGM pack, and can be discussed under “Any Other Business” at the AGM, time permitting.

The Motions to vote on have been split into the following subjects:

All of the motions can be found in the AGM information pack and details of the proxy voting process is covered at the end of this document.

Please note that the views expressed in the motions are those of the individuals raising the points and their motions have been included in their own words.

The Executive Committee would like to thank all the Tour Pros who submitted Motions for this years AGM and look forward to seeing the response from our members to the proposed points.
