The manager of Midlands Minigolf Club, Michael Smith, spoke shortly after the tournament: “I’d like to thank Dave Donnelly, Mark Wood, Chris Smith, and especially Steve Lovell and Brenda Smith for their contributions which made the tournament run so smoothly. I’d also like to thank every player who attended the tournament for co-operating with the referees, tournament director and assistant tournament directors throughout, and for their excellent behaviour during the tournament. We were fortunate with the weather, and this tournament was the perfect way to say goodbye to a much-loved course.

“In addition, I’d like to thank Andy and all the team at Four Ashes Golf Centre for their professionalism, friendliness and hospitality throughout the past decade. Four Ashes Golf Centre has been extremely kind and supportive to both Midlands Minigolf Club and the British Minigolf Association over the past few years, and we will always be very grateful for that. We wish them well with their new 18 lane course.”

The next event on the BMGA Tour is the British Masters, at Splash Point Minigolf Club, Worthing, which takes place on Sunday 10th April 2016. Details and the entry form can be found at
