Still time to enter the final Major of the Year - the World Crazy Golf Championships in Hastings PDF Print E-mail

Ever wanted to take part in a World Championship? Well now's your chance...

The final Major of the year, the The World Crazy Golf Championship (WCGC) is taking place on the Arnold Palmer Crazy Golf course in Hastings across the weekend of the 24 and 25 October. The event is truly unique and always proves to be a fun, entertaining weekend for everyone who takes part.

With this in mind, and to ensure that everyone who wants to experience this fantastic competition can enter, the organisers have extended the entries up to 75 competitors which means that there are still a number of places free with 3 weeks to go until the event tees of on the 24th. Entries for the event will close on Saturday 17th October at the latest (no entries will be accepted after this point) which means you still have 2 weeks to register for the tournament.

All the 2014 players get ready to take on the challenges of the Crazy Golf Course on Saturday morning

The competition will take place across 7 rounds with 4 rounds being played on Saturday and 2 rounds on Sunday for all players. The final round on Sunday will be contested amongst the top 18 players using the unique Crazy Crazy rules with the winner taking home the top cash prize of £1000 and the trophy. There will be prizes for top novice and selected category prizes as part of a total prize fund of £3000.

All players will use the official ball of the 2015 World Crazy Golf Championship (yours to keep after the competition) which will be available at the course from Friday 23rd October (and for those desperate to know what the ball will be, it is currently in production but will be similar to the balls that the event has used for the past two years - effectively a 2015 WCGC branded golf ball).

A players pack featuring all the news and information you will need for the event, including the groups and tee off times for day 1, will be published shortly after the entries have closed in two weeks time.
