Entries now open for the British Open along with news on the Welsh Open making its debut on the tour in September


The next competition on the tour, the final event before the summer break, takes place in Worthing with the Splash Point Open on Saturday 25th July at the Splash Point Minigolf Course. The course has previously hosted the British Matchplay Championship and the British Masters and is hosting their Club Open for the second time at the venue. Following the summer break where our Great Britain team will be taking on all comers in the World Championships in Finland (details here), the tour sees the arrival of a brand new event - the Welsh Open - taking place at Treetop Adventure Golf in Cardiff on Sunday 6th September. The event will take place on Sunday morning, with three rounds of strokeplay, teeing off from 9am and promises to be a great competition. The course are also offering an exclusive practice session for tournament competitors on the Saturday morning, with the tournament course closed to the general public for this session. On the Friday evening, the event will be officially launched with a pro-am event at the course, featuring members of the Great Britain international team and local teams, all playing for the Welsh Pro-Am trophy! September also sees our premier event of the year taking place - the British Open - at Strokes adventure Golf Course in Margate across the weekend of 19th and 20th. Entries for the event are now open and full details of the competition can be found here.

With the World Crazy Golf Championships, Kent Open and the Star City Open rounding off the season, along with the debut Cambridgeshire & Essex Minigolf Club Open and  the eagerly anticipated return of the British Doubles Championship, the 2015 season is shaping up to be another classic year of British Minigolf.
