World Adventure Golf Masters Players Information pack PDF Print E-mail

After months of waiting, it is now less than a week to go before the return of the WORLD ADVENTURE GOLF MASTERS (WAGM) to the UK, teeing off on Saturday 6th June at the Pirate Course in Hastings. This pack contains the key information that you will need to make this weekend’s competition a tournament to remember. If you have any questions regarding the WAGM (or the info below) please do not hesitate to contact me, either via This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Team Germany - the four time reigning Champions (taken at the 2013 WAGM)

Play will tee off on Saturday 6th June at 9.00am (a rolling start with groups of two or three players, all starting at hole 1, going out at 5 minute intervals) with all players playing 4 rounds of 18 holes on the course. The groups for day one will be announced at the opening ceremony on Friday evening.

The estimated finish time for the final group of the 4th round on Saturday is 5.00pm.

Sunday will consist of 2 further rounds for all players, with play again starting no later than 9.00am. (due to the size of the field, Day 2 may tee off at 8.30am - the final details will be confirmed at the opening ceremony).  The third round of Sunday will see the top 6 teams play for the team title and then the final round of the day, the Super final, sees the top 18 players play to decide the World Adventure Golf Masters title. The estimated finish time (including medal presentations at the course) on Sunday is 4.00pm

In the event of a play-off for any of the competition placings this will be a sudden death play off from Hole 1.

The tournament will see the World Adventure Golf Masters Champion crowned along with the World Adventure Golf Masters Team Champions. There will also be additional prizes for top category players (taken on the results after 6 rounds).

The prize fund for the tournament is estimated at €2000 and the breakdown of this will be confirmed at the opening ceremony.

The tournament is being run with a rolling start enabling players to watch other players throughout the day (there will always be people out on the course!) and offers a unique insight into the challenges that the course provides. Players remain in their groups throughout the 4 rounds on Saturday (alternating the playing order)

Results from the WAGM, will be streamed live from Saturday morning at

Players must ensure that they report to the Officials Hut at the course no later than 15 minutes before their scheduled tee-off time.

Details of tee off times for rounds 2 thru 4 will be published at the Tournament hut on Saturday morning. We are expecting the final group to finish their final round of the day around 5.00pm.

The groups will be reordered on Sunday to reflect leaderboard Category order, with the leaders going out in the final group for round 5. The groups will again be reordered after round 6 in readiness for the final round of the competition.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: For the 2015 WAGM, players who wish to use a golf ball on any lane will only be able to use an official WMF branded Golf Ball - these will be on sale at the tournament organisers hut from Friday morning for £5 each).

Marion Homer is the Tournament Director for the weekend.

On Friday evening from 6.30pm the official opening ceremony of the 2015 World Adventure Golf Masters will take place at the White Rock Hotel in Hastings. All players will need to attend.
