Great Britain teams ready for action as the World Adventure Golf Masters approaches PDF Print E-mail

The British Minigolf Lions aiming to take the team title at the 2015 WAGM.

The Great Britain minigolf team will be looking at building on recent successes with strong performances this year at a number of the World Minigolf Sport Federation competitions. The International season tees off in June with the World Adventure Golf Masters, culminating in the summer with the World Championships, taking place in Lahti, Finland.
Our dedicated group of selectors and coaches to support the 2015 season, made up of the BMGA's most experienced and capped Great Britain International players - Keith Kellard, Chris Harding, James Rutherford and Sean Homer - can now confirm the teams for the 2015 World Adventure Golf Masters as follows:

* Team 1 - Michael Smith, Adam Kelly, Will Donnelly & Chris Harding

* Team 2 - Sean Homer, Tony Kelly, Scott Lancley & Steve Lovell

* Team 3 - Mark Wood, Chris Wood, Martin Greenhead & Adrian Amey

* Team 4 - Dave Gomm, Freddie Blackburn Shaw, Tiger Pragnell & Dave Donnelly.

Speaking about the selections, Sean Homer, BMGA Chairman and one of the GBR selectors said "Our teams look very strong going into the WAGM. Our first team features the top 3 players from our recent National Championships along with the new 2015 Senior British Champion and will be spearheading Great Britains challenge for the team title. As the most capped GBR player i'm very happy to head up Team 2 alongside 2 club mates which also sees Steve making his well deserved International debut. Team 3 reunites one of our teams from the 2014 WAGM and the four players proved they work well as a foursome and I am sure they will put in a great performance in June. Local interest is guaranteed with our final team which sees two of the Planet Hastings Club line up alongside local player Tiger and experienced Kent player Dave Donnelly. All the players selected are in good form following our National Championships which took place on the Pirate course last weekend and we are looking forward to a tremendous and successful WAGM in June".
