After a year away, the Pirate course at Hastings seafront hosts the event for the fourth time

The 2015 WORLD ADVENTURE GOLF MASTERS (WAGM) will be contested for the fourth year at the Pirate Course in Hastings, across the weekend of 6/7 June. This eagerly anticipated event, part of the World Minigolf Sport Federation international calendar will see the 4 time and reigning team champions Germany battle it out against a number of teams representing the cream of European adventure minigolf for the coveted World Adventure Golf Team Masters title.

Having been contested in Sweden in 2014, the two-day, seven-round tournament returns to the UK and promises to be the biggest WAGM since its inception in 2011. The event was last played in Hastings in 2013 with Gerrit Below from Germany winning the overall individual Masters tournament in his first appearance at the event with a score of 204 (-48). Gerrit won the event by 4 shots from the 2 time defending champion Martin Stöckle with Great Britain's Michael Smith a further 1 shot back in third place. In taking the title, Gerrit managed to equal the existing all time course record of 24, previously set at the 2011 event by fellow German Oleg Klassen (the reigning champion having beaten all-comers in Gothenburg last season).

Priority for entries will go to National Team representatives and Great Britain will have a maximum of 4 teams taking in this years event. Details of the teams and availability of places for non-national team players will be communicated by the end of March at the latest.

The WMF is the umbrella organisation of minigolf sports association's worldwide and continental associations in Asia, Europe and America. The WMF is a member of the SportAccord, the General Association of International Sports Federations. The WMF organises biannual world championships for youth and elite players, as well as biannual Continental Championships in Europe, Asia and the USA. There are four minigolf systems recognised by the WMF; Concrete, Miniaturegolf, Feltgolf and Minigolf Open Standard (MOS). Adventure Golf courses are part of the MOS system.
