NEXT EVENTS

The BRITISH MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP will be contested at the Boscombe Chine Minigolf course in Dorset, on Sunday 7 July.

Returning to the course for the first time on the BMGA tour since 2009, this promises to be a great competition and the matchplay element always gives some unexpected twists and turns to the event! The competition opens with group stages then progresses to knock out with all competitors playing the same number of rounds across the event. There are no seedings for either the group stages or the latter stages, with players being drawn at random (FA Cup style draw) throughout the competition.
With just over two weeks to go until the competition, it is still not too late to take part. Entry to the event is £20 per player and further details of the competition and an entry form can be found at http://www.minigolf.org.uk/joomla/index.php?option=com_eventlist&view=details&id=99&Itemid=56

Following the summer break, during which Great Britain will be playing in both the WMF Youth and World Championships (details to follow in the next newsletter), the tour will move onto the 2nd Major of the season - the BRITISH OPEN at Strokes Adventure Golf Course in Margate - taking place across the weekend of 21 / 22 September. Details of the event can be found at http://www.minigolf.org.uk/joomla/index.php?option=com_eventlist&view=details&id=100&Itemid=56

Full details of all the events on the 2013 tour can be found at http://www.minigolf.org.uk/joomla/index.php?view=categoryevents&id=6%3Abmga-2013&option=com_eventlist&Itemid=56.
