This eagerly anticipated event, part of the World Minigolf Sport Federation international calendar, with a total prize fund in excess of £1000 will see the reigning team champions Germany and the current World Minigolf Champions Sweden (including the current World Minigolf Champion, Filiph Svensson) battle it out against a number of Great Britain teams and a WMF Allstars foursome for the coveted World Adventure Golf Team Masters title. The two time World Adventure Golf Master, Martin Stöckle from Germany will also be returning to defend his individual title against 40 players from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Ireland and across the length and breadth of Great Britain.

Sean Homer, the Chairman of the BMGA said "I am delighted that we have two outstanding teams taking place in this years event and it promises to be a terrific battle for the Team title over the weekend. Last year we came within 5 shots of beating Germany for the championship and with our players in good form this season and with good track records on the Pirate Course we are looking to take the title having lost our in 2011 and 2012 to Germany. It's great news for the event that the World Champions Sweden are entering a team for the first time this year and I know that we will have to be at our very best to beat both these two quality international teams coming to Hastings. We certainly have the players and the experience to finally take the Team Masters title. With upto 5 Great Britain teams taking part in the event next weekend and with a partisan Hastings crowd on our side I am sure it will provide a fitting and exciting spectacle for what is the largest field yet to compete in the World Adventure Golf Masters."

The Great Britain players will be taking on all comers in a number of events this season. As well as the WAGM, Great Britain will be competing in the WMF Youth Championships in Portugal before taking a full strength mens team to Germany in August to compete against the best teams in the World at the WMF World Championships.
