The Countdown to the World Adventure Golf Masters continues - just 2 days to go!!! PDF Print E-mail
The build up to the World Adventure Masters (WAGM) continues in readiness for the competition that tee’s off on Friday.

Today saw the first official practice day with the course closed to the public and the majority of players now at the course. Brad Shepherd, Alan Norman, Richard Skeggs and Oliver Florence all made their first appearances of the week and with the Green Minigolf Players arriving later in the afternoon we had virtually all of the confirmed entrants out on the course today. Gerhard Zimmerman (sport director World Minigolf Sport Federation) also arrived at the course today to see the preparation and course first hand (and was suitably impressed by what he saw).

The Great Britain Teams showcased their all new national kit to the admiring public and the buzz of the competition drew the BBC down to the course in the afternoon to marvel at the skill and preparation of the players for the event. And so taken were they with what they saw, they ran a live link fro the course in the evening to show the practice in full swing.

You can catch the full report from the BBC news team approx 20 minutes in at (available for one day but the clip will be uploaded onto the BMGA’s youtube channel in due course for those of you that want to relive the moment again!).

The official WAGM ball continues to be a popular choice on the new felt at Hastings - available for £15 each while stocks last.

One final practice day to sort out those final few lines and ball choices and then with the official opening ceremony and reception at the White Rock Hotel ( on Thursday evening will see the tournament ready to start!!!
