Last year Bath’s Kevin Moseley won the Weymouth Open with a sudden death play-off victory against 2008 Weymouth Open champion Richard Gottfried. In 2009 Weymouth’s Oliver Green won the Junior Weymouth Open title for the second and last time, as he will be stepping up to the adult ranks in the  2010 tournament. The top local player in 2009 was David Picksley with a fourth place finish. The current course record is 41(+5) and is jointly held by Luton’s Richard Gottfried and Weymouth’s Ed Evans.
