Teams of two players are invited to enter the British Minigolf Association’s Annual BMGA British Doubles minigolf tournament which takes place at the 18-hole Mini Golf course at Boscombe Chine Gardens on Sunday 14th June. Tee-off time will be at 9am and entry to the competition is £16 per team. Registered players can access an all-day practice rate of £10 on Friday 12th June and Saturday 13th June. The tournament will be played in a Matchplay Format and there will be prizes on the day for the top teams. Newcomers and spectators will also be able to find out more about the sport of competitive minigolf from experienced BMGA players. Tony Unsworth, Boscombe Chine Mini Golf course owner, said “It’s wonderful that the BMGA players are coming to our course here in Boscombe, I’m sure the course will really put their minigolfing skills to the test.” John McIver, BMGA Tournament Officer, said: “Boscombe Chine Mini Golf is a top quality course and we are very happy to be holding the British Doubles in Boscombe for the first time.” The British Minigolf Association is the UK’s governing body for minigolf sport, including crazy golf and adventure golf. The BMGA is the United Kingdom member of the European Minigolf Federation and the World Minigolf Federation. The BMGA Tour will be returning to Dorset in October, as Sandbanks Crazy Golf hosts the BMGA British Club Championships on Sunday 4th October, while the Pirate Adventure Golf course in Weymouth hosts the second Weymouth Open on Sunday 11th October.
