New season, new club, new course to challenge.

Next weekend will see the first club Open of the 2019 BMGA season, The Thanet Open.

This will be Thanet Silverbacks MGC first ever stroke play tournament consisting of 3 rounds (2 shotgun rounds, and a final rolling start in reverse order standings.)

Captain of the new club, Scott Lancley said

“Thanet now has four 18 hole mini golf courses, and with the Lost Island adventure golf (Margate) being an indoor course, gave us a great opportunity to kick off the BMGA Pro tour. Many thanks to James Godden and his staff for inviting and hosting our 1st event on Sunday 10th February. The pros that have already had the opportunity to test out the course have really liked the genuine ‘Ace’ chances around the entire course which will hopefully make for a close competition on the day.”
